About the position

As a Risk Operations Analyst at StoneX Group, you will play a crucial role in connecting clients to the global markets while ensuring the integrity and efficiency of our risk management processes. This position is designed for individuals who are eager to engage in a variety of business-critical activities that keep our company running smoothly. You will be part of a dynamic team that focuses on optimizing processes and implementing innovative policies that enhance our operational capabilities. Your work will involve collaborating with various departments, including Information Technology, Compliance, Legal, Data Privacy, Human Resources, and Internal Audit, to develop and maintain comprehensive reporting for the Risk Department. In this role, you will support the data strategy within the Risk Department by gathering, organizing, and managing access to critical data. You will also liaise with the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) and designated risk stakeholders to ensure effective risk involvement in key business initiatives. Your ability to improve current processes and optimize organizational procedures will be essential in enhancing efficiency and productivity within the department. Additionally, you will identify and maintain key performance indicators to measure and improve team performance, serving as a subject-matter expert in handling inquiries and developing action plans. Your responsibilities will also include maintaining and organizing documentation for the Risk Department, including policies and procedures, and supporting the delivery of educational and training materials to foster a strong risk management culture throughout the organization. Responsibilities

  • Development and maintenance of reporting for Risk Department, including liaising with risk partners.
  • Support data strategy within the Risk Department, including data gathering, organizing, and access management.
  • Liaise with EPMO and designated risk stakeholders related to risk involvement in projects in key business initiatives.
  • Improve current processes and optimize organizational procedures for efficiency and productivity within the Risk Department.
  • Identify and maintain key performance indicators to measure and improve team performance.
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert, handling inquiries, developing action plans, and assisting with preparation and dissemination of communications for Risk Department.
  • Maintenance and organization of Risk Department documentation, including policies and procedures.
  • Support delivery of educational, training, or other materials to support the desired risk management culture throughout the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related equivalent years of experience.
  • 2-5 years prior risk or internal audit experience a plus.
  • Competency in collaborating with multi-discipline, high performing work teams.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong analytical, communications, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience of working in a multinational environment.
  • Experience with PowerBI or Tableau.
