This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office. The Manager - Portfolio Analysis reports to the Senior Director - Risk Analytics and leads a new and growing team of analysts responsible for the development and execution of the Bank's Portfolio Analysis program. This team is responsible for the build-out and execution of regularly scheduled and ad hoc forward-looking portfolio analytics and sensitivity analysis. The team provides the firm with a venue for considering comprehensive firm-wide impacts of changes in internal or external factors to portfolios, products, or business lines. The Manager works with management to establish the analytical priorities of the firm and leads the team to deliver on current and long-term analytical priorities and execute day-to-day activities, including portfolio analytics, sensitivity analysis, econometric analysis, and other analyses as deemed necessary. The manager will also be responsible for growing the team over time as the needs of the group require. The Senior Risk Analyst supports the firm's responses to audit and regulatory examinations for all assigned Portfolio Analysis activities and coordinates these activities with the Senior Director - Risk Analytics. The role involves owning the analytical relationship with each business and the credit risk function. Leveraging these relationships, the manager will work with management to define the analytical priorities of the firm. They will define the structure and format of analyses to be performed and work with the team of analysts to ensure effective execution. The manager will also be responsible for ensuring the completion of reconciliation of analyzed data to available internal and external reporting, ensuring completeness and accuracy of analyzed data sets, and documenting reports to present to management on the results of assigned analyses, escalating concerns and conclusions where appropriate. Additionally, the manager will take ownership of the growth and development of assigned resources and complete administrative managerial tasks.
