The Risk Portfolio Analysis Manager is a pivotal role within the Risk Analytics department, reporting directly to the Senior Director of Risk Analytics. This hybrid position is based in Morristown, NJ, Raleigh, NC, or San Francisco, CA, and involves a blend of in-office and remote work. The primary responsibility of the Manager is to lead a newly established team of analysts dedicated to the development and execution of the Bank's Portfolio Analysis program. This program is crucial for conducting both regular and ad hoc forward-looking portfolio analytics and sensitivity analyses, which are essential for understanding the comprehensive impacts of various internal and external factors on portfolios, products, and business lines. In this role, the Manager will collaborate closely with senior management to set the analytical priorities for the firm. They will guide the team in delivering on both current and long-term analytical objectives while overseeing day-to-day operations, which include portfolio analytics, sensitivity analysis, econometric analysis, and other necessary analyses. The Manager will also be responsible for the growth and development of the team, ensuring that it evolves in response to the changing needs of the organization. The Senior Risk Analyst will support the firm’s responses to audits and regulatory examinations related to Portfolio Analysis activities, coordinating these efforts with the Senior Director of Risk Analytics. The Manager will own the analytical relationships with each business unit and the credit risk function, leveraging these connections to define the firm’s analytical priorities. They will also be tasked with structuring and formatting analyses, ensuring effective execution by the team of analysts, and managing the reconciliation of analyzed data with available internal and external reporting. Additionally, the Manager will document and present the results of analyses to management, highlighting any concerns and conclusions as necessary, while also taking ownership of the growth and development of team members and completing administrative managerial tasks.
