About the position

The Summer 2025 Internship in Risk & Research Proposition at Dow Jones is designed for students who are eager to gain hands-on experience in market and customer research. Interns will assist in analyzing market trends and customer data to support product and sales initiatives, while also developing skills in data interpretation and communication within a global team. This hybrid role is based in New York City and requires availability from June 9, 2025, to August 15, 2025.

Responsibilities

• Perform quantitative and qualitative research into customers, competitors, and the marketplace
• Create reports, presentations, and action items based on collected data
• Understand business objectives and design polls or surveys to gain insights into prospective customers' preferences

Requirements

• Completed at least two years of your education towards your Bachelor's degree
• Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking abilities
• Great capacity to understand and relay complex data across industries
• Superb ability to multitask while paying attention to detail
• Deep experience with Google Sheets, Tableau, Salesforce.com, search engines, and web analytics
