As a Risk Strategy Analyst within Business Operations at SoFi, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Independent Risk Management (IRM) function. This strategic position involves collaborating closely with the Chief Risk Officer and the Risk Leadership team to define success criteria and develop a comprehensive execution roadmap for the next phase of SoFi's Independent Risk Management buildout. Your contributions will be essential in ensuring that the organization operates efficiently and scales effectively in a rapidly evolving financial landscape. You will be recognized as a trusted partner to the Director of Business Operations and the broader CRO leadership team, providing insights and support that drive the company's risk management strategies forward. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of key deliverables that support the CRO and the IRM team. This includes producing quarterly white-paper perspectives that analyze macroeconomic trends and summarize key risks. You will facilitate the execution of both long-term and short-term strategies, managing projects as an internal risk consultant. This involves overseeing business cases, defining project scopes, managing dependencies, allocating resources, and tracking milestones to ensure successful project completion. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in supporting regulatory examinations and ensuring that risk deliverables meet compliance standards. You will help design an operating cadence that aligns strategy with execution and performance management, utilizing frameworks such as OKRs and business reviews. Your ability to create impactful presentations will be vital in conveying key risk topics and insights to leadership, board members, and regulators. You will also engage with counterparts in other business units to standardize processes across the organization, enhancing overall operational efficiency.
