About the position

The Risk Systems Project Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting risk systems projects by coordinating project activities, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met. This position involves analyzing business processes, implementing improvements, and acting as a liaison between software vendors and users.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates project activities and collaborates with all project stakeholders.
  • Organizes and maintains project documentation including requirements, design, and testing.
  • Organizes meetings and workshops as required to meet project objectives.
  • Prepares and reviews project deliverables.
  • Collaborates closely with team members to meet project milestones.
  • Maintains documentation throughout the project life cycle.
  • Establishes cadence to maintain communication with project team members.
  • Escalates issues and risks as soon as possible and develops solutions.
  • Actively works on mitigating project risk through planning and discussing potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery and quality.
  • Maintains, monitors, and updates assigned business processes and/or systems.
  • Researches complex problems and acts independently to resolve them.
  • Analyzes existing business processes and/or systems and determines technical or procedural improvements and implements changes.
  • Develops and provides documentation for users and project purposes.
  • Designs processes to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Develops and generates specialized and ad hoc reports.
  • Provides analysis and recommendations for improvements in processes and/or systems.
  • Acts as liaison between software vendors and process/system users or between users and other corporate areas.
  • May serve as lead analyst in training or projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 5 years of related experience
  • High School diploma with 9 years of experience/education in a related field may be considered.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of system development lifecycle and some experience in project delivery
  • Some knowledge of project life cycle management tools such as ADO or Jira
  • Advanced analytical and mathematical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to identify continuous improvement opportunities and solutions
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of system development lifecycle
