About The Position
The Senate Sergeant at Arms is seeking a Risk & Threat Management Analyst. This position involves reviewing and reporting on security risks concerning communications and potential threats that may impact the Senate community. The analyst will establish and maintain effective working relationships with local and federal law enforcement, public safety, and intelligence agencies, and assist with the coordination of security initiatives. The role also includes implementing outreach efforts, training, and security assistance to Senators and senior Senate staff regarding physical security and personal protection. The analyst will conduct open-source research to identify trends and patterns related to threat and security issues and represent the SAA during major events involving the Senate through operational security planning and on-site presence.
