About the position

The Risk Underwriter Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for conducting quality programs that support operational risk-based auditing and customer experience service programs. This role involves auditing the underwriting process, analyzing data trends, and providing recommendations for optimizations to enhance customer satisfaction and drive continuous improvement across multiple insurance products.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits of the overall underwriting Risk Underwriting process and management.
• Audit targeted Underwriting processes and client-specific Underwriting performance.
• Evaluate training performance related to underwriting processes.
• Collaborate with internal business partners to provide trend and data analysis.
• Identify recommendations for optimizations and enhancements to meet customer demands.
• Support multiple insurance products including Life, STD, LTD, Dental, Vision, and Supplemental Health.
• Assist with program development and redesigns based on business needs and new product offerings.
• Support business compliance and risk initiatives.

Requirements

• College degree and Insurance industry experience preferred.
• 2+ years in Risk Underwriter experience, preferably with multiple products.
• Experience in audit/review and Rating processes preferred.
• Robust decision-making skills, including critical thinking and problem solving.
• Strong communication and coaching skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Rating platforms including CPS, Salesforce, Simon, BTR, AuditWell, Tableau.
