About the position
We are Hiring at University Hospital. The position is for a Registered Nurse in the 5 Core medical intensive care unit, which is a 6-bed unit that cares for patients with a variety of disease processes involving Neurology, Respiratory, Endocrine, Cardiac, Immune/Infectious Disease, and Renal systems. The unit also cares for ICU level patients receiving blood cellular therapies. The shift options available are full-time nights from 7 PM to 7 AM.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
Requirements
- Licensed or eligible for license in Kentucky
- Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required for some units
- Associates's degree from accredited college or University
