About the position
We are Hiring at University Hospital. The position is located at 530 S Jackson St. Louisville KY, 40202. The shift options available are part-time days from 7A to 7P. The 5 Core unit is a 6-bed medical intensive care unit that cares for patients with a variety of disease processes involving the Neurology, Respiratory, Endocrine, Cardiac, Immune/Infectious Disease, and Renal systems. This unit also cares for ICU level patients receiving blood cellular therapies.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
Requirements
- Licensed or eligible for license in Kentucky
- Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required for some units
- Associates's degree from accredited college or University
