About the position

The RN Administrative Manager at North Memorial Healthcare is responsible for providing administrative decision-making and support for the coordination of customer care services around the clock. This role involves managing customer flow, communication, and emergency management, while also assisting with staffing to optimize labor productivity. The Administrative Manager plays a key role in ensuring that resources are allocated effectively across the facility and participates in leadership initiatives that promote quality care and strategic goals. This position serves as a representative of hospital leadership in their absence and is expected to embody the organization's mission, vision, and values.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative decision-making and support for customer care services 24/7.
  • Coordinate customer flow, communication, and emergency management.
  • Assist with staffing in conjunction with the department manager and staffing office.
  • Ensure resources are adequately allocated across the facility.
  • Participate in leadership initiatives to promote quality and strategic goals.
  • Ensure customers are placed in the clinically appropriate level of care.
  • Actively demonstrate the mission, vision, and guiding principles of the organization.
  • Represent hospital leadership in their absence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field; Master's preferred.
  • 5+ years nursing experience and 2+ years in clinical leadership.
  • Successful track record of progressively increasing responsibilities.
  • Effective leader with strategic orientation and superior judgment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to maintain quality, safety, and infection control standards.
  • Current, valid RN license in the State of Minnesota.
  • Current BLS certification required.
