Riley Children's Health, Indiana's largest and most skilled pediatric system, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Navigator to join our Pediatric Hematology service line. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate care for patients with neuro oncology conditions.
  • Develop comprehensive care plans that meet individual needs and preferences.
  • Ensure timely and effective delivery of tests and treatments.
  • Balance care needs with financial considerations.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Requirements

  • Associates of Nursing (ASN) required.
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license required.
  • Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program required.
  • 3-5 years of experience preferred.
  • Basic Life Support certification through the AHA required.
  • Knowledge of personal computers using various types of word processing and database software required.
  • Clinical work experience and understanding of medical terminology required.
  • Understanding of medical record requirements, regulations, and policies required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
  • Specialty certifications may be required per unit/department specialty in accordance with the department provision of care.
