Responsibilities
- Coordinate care for patients with neuro oncology conditions.
- Develop comprehensive care plans that meet individual needs and preferences.
- Ensure timely and effective delivery of tests and treatments.
- Balance care needs with financial considerations.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- Associates of Nursing (ASN) required.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license required.
- Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program required.
- 3-5 years of experience preferred.
- Basic Life Support certification through the AHA required.
- Knowledge of personal computers using various types of word processing and database software required.
- Clinical work experience and understanding of medical terminology required.
- Understanding of medical record requirements, regulations, and policies required.
Nice-to-haves
- Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
- Specialty certifications may be required per unit/department specialty in accordance with the department provision of care.
