About the position
The RN position at BrightStar Care of Baltimore City/County involves providing one-on-one care to children in Baltimore City schools, primarily focusing on cases related to diabetic and seizure disorders. This full-time role requires working 40 hours a week, typically from 8 AM to 4 PM, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one nursing care to children in Baltimore City schools.
- Manage and monitor health conditions such as diabetes and seizure disorders.
- Collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure the health and safety of students.
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation for each student.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Requirements
- Valid RN License.
- CPR Certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably with children.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience working with children.
- PPD test taken in the last 12 months.
