About the position

Innova Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time direct hire opportunity in Camillus, NY. The role involves various nursing duties including patient care, medical record management, and acting as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers. The position offers a structured schedule with 8-hour shifts from 7:45 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, and includes a sign-on bonus of $5000.

Responsibilities

• Perform various duties related to patient appointments and medical records, including taking vital signs and updating health history.
• Update electronic medical records (EMR) with orders, changes in providers, and appointment scheduling.
• Act as a liaison between patients, providers, and office staff to ensure smooth workflow and address any issues.
• Collect samples from patients, perform routine lab tests, and administer medications as needed.
• Assist providers with medical procedures and prepare patients accordingly.

Requirements

• NYS RN license required.
• Current CPR certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
• At least 1 year of experience in a physician office environment.
• Familiarity with medical office procedures and standards of medical care.
