About the position
The Registered Nurse provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. The position is located in the PTCA (Angioplasty Recovery) unit, which is a 14-bed advanced cardiovascular interventional unit that provides pre & post procedural care for acute cardiology patients, including cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology procedures such as ablations, pacemaker insertions, ICD placement, and TAVRs. The unit also performs Watchmans and Mitraclips procedures.
Requirements
- Licensed or eligible for license in Kentucky
- Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required for some units
- Associates's degree from accredited college or University
