About the position
The Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) at Crestwood Medical Center is responsible for providing pre and post-procedure care for patients undergoing catheterization procedures. Responsibilities
- Provide pre and post-procedure care for patients in the Cath Lab.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition during recovery.
- Assist in the preparation of patients for catheterization procedures.
- Educate patients and their families about the procedures and post-care instructions.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Associates Degree in Nursing
- At least 1 year of experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, Vascular Surgery, Critical/ICU care, ED experience, or Surgical invasive
- Current Alabama RN License
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification required within 30 days of hire
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a full-service acute care facility
- National certification in a relevant nursing specialty
