About the position
As a Cath Lab RN, you will assist with cardiac catheterization procedures, angioplasties, pacemaker implantation, and other cardiac care. This role requires close monitoring of patients, checking vital signs during procedures, and providing care both during and after the procedures. Travel nurses in this position will work temporarily at various locations, adapting quickly to new environments while delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assist with cardiac catheterization procedures, angioplasties, and pacemaker implantation.
- Monitor patients closely during procedures and check vital signs.
- Administer care to patients during and after cardiac procedures.
- Adapt quickly to new healthcare environments and patient populations as a travel nurse.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of recent experience in cardiac care or related field.
- Active nursing license or appropriate accreditation in one of the 50 US states.
- Additional certifications as may be requested by the specific facility/unit.
