About the position
The RN - Cath Lab position at Integrated Resources, Inc. involves providing comprehensive nursing care in a catheterization laboratory setting. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough assessments of patients across all stages of growth and development.
- Deliver competent and appropriate nursing care to patients in the Cath Lab.
- Maintain complete and accurate documentation of patient care and progress.
- Demonstrate knowledge of emergency equipment and procedures.
- Respond professionally to patients, families, and co-workers to promote a positive care environment.
- Follow National Patient Safety Goals and Universal Protocols for patient safety.
- Individualize patient care based on procedures and anesthesia types.
- Contribute to the perioperative team by prioritizing patient care based on needs and conditions.
- Educate patients and families about surgical procedures and care instructions.
- Support the completion of patient testing in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Active RN License required
- AHA BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- Minimum of 2 years critical care experience
- Experience in Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology
- Knowledge of medical imaging and surgical procedures
- Experience with Epic and Change Healthcare/McKesson CVIS is helpful
- Experience circulating in the Cath Lab and monitoring patients
- Familiarity with TEE and CV procedures is beneficial
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with pacemakers and vascular procedures
- Previous work in pre/post Cath Lab areas
