About the position
CHI St. Alexius Health is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Children's Team. This role is essential in delivering high-quality patient care and involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective communication and patient management. The RN will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for selected patient populations and their families, while also demonstrating leadership and professionalism in a supportive healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for all Registered Nurse duties and responsibilities.
- Demonstrates knowledge of unit standards of care, staff competencies, and individual patient care needs.
- Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, including care coordination, physicians, and management.
- Actively role models and coaches the behaviors associated with leadership.
- Successfully completes defined job-specific competencies.
Requirements
- Nursing degree from an approved school of nursing; BSN preferred.
- Licensed to practice registered nursing in the state of ND or in a compact state.
- At least two (2) years clinical experience within specialty area preferred.
