About the position
Vanderbilt University Medical Center is seeking Registered Nurse Circulators for the Trauma / General Surgery / Transplant team as part of its expansion. This role involves being a Circulator and patient advocate for a variety of surgical procedures across multiple service lines, requiring flexibility and versatility. The position offers a $25,000 sign-on bonus for candidates with 1 or more years of RN Circulator experience and includes four 10-hour shifts.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates in establishing the plan of care, coordinates and implements care delivery while anticipating patient care needs across the continuum.
- Analyzes comprehensive information pertinent to the patient's care and management to determine nursing diagnosis.
- Continually utilizes the nursing process to evaluate patient's progress towards goals and applies appropriate interventions to ensure effective outcomes.
- Employs strategies to promote health and a safe and healthy environment.
- Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved discipline specific program
- LIC-Registered Nurse - Licensure-Others
- Relevant Work Experience: 1 year
