About the position

Valor Healthcare is seeking a dedicated RN Clinic Administrator to lead our Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) in Jamestown. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic, which serves America's veterans by providing a comprehensive range of medical services tailored to meet the specific needs of local VA medical centers. As an RN Clinic Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the clinic, ensuring that clinical quality expectations are met, and delivering exceptional customer service to veterans and clinic visitors alike. Your leadership will be crucial in managing the day-to-day operations, financial performance, and growth strategies of the clinic. In this role, you will partner closely with the Clinic Medical Director to ensure that all colleagues provide excellent customer service, both in person and over the phone. You will also manage the clinic's financial performance, focusing on revenue growth through enrollment and cost containment. A key responsibility will be to proactively manage veteran enrollment and retention, ensuring that no veteran exceeds their annual vesting visit date. You will maintain staffing levels that align with veteran enrollment and contract terms, ensuring maximum efficiency in clinic operations. Additionally, you will review and analyze various reports, including clinical quality metrics and financial reports, to inform decision-making. Your ability to attract, coach, mentor, and retain talent will be essential, as will your capacity to develop and maintain positive relationships with our VA partners. Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day clinic operations and ensure clinical quality expectations are met.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and partner with the Clinic Medical Director.
  • Ensure all colleagues provide excellent customer service to veterans and clinic visitors.
  • Manage the clinic's financial performance with an emphasis on revenue growth and cost containment.
  • Develop growth strategies for new enrollees and expand market penetration in the clinic's catchment area.
  • Proactively manage veteran enrollment and retention, ensuring compliance with annual vesting visit dates.
  • Maintain staffing levels consistent with veteran enrollment and contract terms.
  • Review and analyze reporting, including clinical quality metrics and financial reports.
  • Attract, coach, mentor, and retain talent through effective communication and performance management.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with VA partners and keep the Regional Director informed of significant issues.
  • Innovate and support new initiatives that drive the success of the Valor business.

Requirements

  • Two years of healthcare management experience required; government healthcare environment preferred.
  • Baccalaureate degree, associate degree, or diploma certificate in registered nursing; graduate degree preferred.
  • Current license or certification as a registered nurse from the state in which the clinic is located.
  • Minimum four years' experience as a registered nurse.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
  • Ability to manage both up and down the organizational structure.
  • Energetic and optimistic demeanor with a strong service mentality.
  • Proficient in computer applications such as Word and Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
