About the position
NortheastArc-Clinical Services is seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) for part-time and full-time positions in the Boston/Greater Boston area. The role involves providing Continuous Care Nursing for medically fragile pediatric and adult patients in their homes, schools, or community settings. Nurses will work one-on-one with patients, ensuring they receive the necessary medical care to avoid hospitalization. The agency specializes in a wide range of medical conditions, including complex ICU-level care, and offers a supportive environment for both seasoned RNs and new graduates.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one nursing care to medically fragile patients in home and community settings.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitor patients' health status and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Educate patients and families on managing medical conditions and care needs.
Requirements
- Valid RN license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Proficiency in nursing skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
- Experience in handling diverse medical conditions, preferably with some clinical experience.
