About The Position

The Clinical Nurse (CN) Facility Resource is responsible for providing a high level of clinical support to the acute care areas and numerous procedural areas within Community Health System (CHS). This position delivers patient care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient needs. Additionally, will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, mentor / coach staff members and provide unit based education and support on processes.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or achieves and maintains National Certification related to specialty required.
  • 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) required.
  • Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California required.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification required.
  • Pediatric Advance Life Support Certification required within 180 days of hire or transfer into position.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Nursing preferred.
  • Experience with Definity administration, I/O access, Mediport access, Ultrasound for PIV placement and basic LVAD Management preferred.
  • For CRMC only, CCRN - Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse required within 180 days of hire or transfer into position.
  • CEN - Certified Emergency Nurse required within 180 days of hire or transfer into position.
