About the position
The RN Critical Care / RN Emergency Room position at Exatech Inc involves providing high-quality nursing care in critical and emergency settings. The role requires monitoring patients, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This is a contract and per diem position, offering flexibility in shifts and competitive pay.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring and recording symptoms and changes in patients' conditions and information to the physician.
- Administering IV medications, dressing changes, catheter care, and preventing skin breakdown.
- Managing cardiac monitors, ventilators, and other monitoring equipment.
- Tracking and recording patient progress, drawing lab work, administering blood, maintaining airways, providing wound care, and administering nutritional support.
- Assessing patient needs, administering medications and treatments, monitoring vital signs, and providing emotional support to patients and their families.
- Participating in daily rounds, communicating vital patient information to the team, and collaborating on treatment plans to ensure patient outcomes.
Requirements
- RN state license
- BLS Certification
- 1 year of nursing experience (preferred)
