About the position
The RN Day Supervisor at Ararat Nursing Facility is responsible for overseeing the quality of care provided to residents, ensuring adherence to care plans, and managing nursing staff. This full-time position requires a strong commitment to serving the elderly and maintaining high standards of nursing practice.
Responsibilities
- Provide residents with routine quality care.
- Administer medications to residents safely and responsibly.
- Review and follow each care plan & determine any changes in residents' health.
- Perform all duties as assigned and in accordance with the facility's established policies and procedures.
- Relate to and work with ill and elderly residents.
- Address customer service issues and complete incident reports.
- Conduct resident assessments and additional documentation as required.
Requirements
- Active RN licensure is required.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- 5+ years of Supervisor/Charge Nurse experience.
- Prior experience in Long-Term Care rules and regulations.
- Strong communication skills and computer proficiency.
- A strong work ethic and professional appearance.
- Fluency in English; Armenian or Spanish speaking is a plus.
