About the position

The RN Director of Home Health at Interim HealthCare is responsible for overseeing the delivery of clinical and caregiver services, ensuring high-quality patient care in compliance with home health laws and regulatory standards. This role involves managing a team of healthcare professionals, coordinating patient care, and ensuring satisfaction among clients and patients. The position is pivotal in maintaining the quality and compliance of home health services provided by the organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the delivery of clinical and caregiver services, ensuring the highest quality of patient/client care in accordance with home health laws and OASIS/PDGM regulatory standards.
• Coordinate and manage a team of nurses, therapists, CNAs, aides, and social workers to ensure client and patient goals are met.
• Recruit, hire, orient, train, supervise, and retain qualified clinicians and caregivers.
• Ensure medical supplies/equipment are delivered and staff are trained on care procedures.
• Assess patient/client needs, resolve issues, and ensure a high level of satisfaction.
• Effectively manage financial resources related to the delivery of quality patient/client care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and active RN or BSN license in Tennessee (required).
• Minimum of 7 years of nursing experience in home healthcare with 5 years OASIS QA experience (required).
• CPR certification.
• Extensive knowledge of state and federal home health laws and regulatory standards.
• Excellent management, organizational, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

• At least 5 years of Home Health supervisory and caregiver management experience (preferred).
• ICD-10 Oasis Coding experience (preferred).
