A renowned 150+ bed hospital on the beautiful Canaveral Coast of Florida is seeking a dynamic and experienced RN Director Surgical Operations to join their team. The RN Director Surgical Operations will have the chance to join a state-of-the-art acute care hospital boasting 150+ beds and advanced amenities. The Nurse Director Surgical will oversee the planning, organization, direction, and enhancement of Surgical and Perioperative Services including PACU, Pre-Admission Testing (PAT), Main Operating Room, Endoscopy, Sterile Processing, and Anesthesia Support Services. The Nurse Director Operating Room will report to the Chief Nursing Officer, and will have the support of Operating Room Nurse Managers, a Perioperative Nurse Educator, OR charge nurses, CNOR staff nurses, and other surgical staff. Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, organization, direction, and enhancement of Surgical and Perioperative Services.
• Manage PACU, Pre-Admission Testing (PAT), Main Operating Room, Endoscopy, Sterile Processing, and Anesthesia Support Services.
• Support and lead Operating Room Nurse Managers and other surgical staff.
• Ensure high standards of patient care and operational efficiency in surgical services.
• Collaborate with the Chief Nursing Officer and other hospital leadership to align surgical services with hospital goals.

Requirements

• Current RN License in the state of Florida.
• Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification.
• Extensive experience in surgical services management.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
