About the position

This position is for a nursing professional at UCLA Health, focusing on providing exceptional care in the Emergency Department. Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional nursing care for Emergency Department patients.
  • Supervise nursing interventions and assign related tasks to team members.
  • Assess patient, family, and staff learning needs.
  • Deliver appropriate clinical education to patients and staff.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
  • Provide detailed care instructions to patients and families.

Requirements

  • Current California RN license and relevant clinical nursing skills.
  • BSN or MSN degree.
  • 4 years of Emergency Department or ED boarding experience.
  • BLS certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
  • ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • PALS certification from the American Heart Association.

Nice-to-haves

  • Travel or extensive Emergency Department experience.
  • National Certification.
