Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and documentation for patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
• Triage patients based on acuity and complaints.
• Rotate through various areas of the ED based on experience and training.
• Participate in Evidence-Based Practice and Process Improvement projects.
• Engage in trauma training and care for patients in Express Care/fast track settings.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• 2 years of specialty experience in nursing.
• Current and valid nursing license.
• BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of starting.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in trauma care or emergency nursing.
• Certification as a Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN).
