About the position
The RN - ER position at Moberly Regional Medical Center is a part-time role focused on evaluating and providing nursing care to assigned patients in the emergency room. Responsibilities
- Evaluate assigned patients and plan, implement, and document nursing care.
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
- Perform various patient tests and administer medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
- Promote patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families about conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
- Utilize experience and judgment to plan and accomplish nursing goals.
- Perform a variety of tasks with a wide degree of creativity and latitude.
Requirements
- Requires an associate's degree in nursing.
- Must be certified as a registered nurse.
- Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the nursing field.
