About the position

The RN for Corporate Wellness Screenings position involves providing health screenings and immunizations at various corporate locations. This role is designed for independent contractors seeking supplemental income, requiring flexibility to work during regular business hours on weekdays. The RN will perform biometric screenings, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform biometric screening at client sites including finger stick blood collection.
  • Provide exceptional customer service at all health screenings and immunization clinics.
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and legible records.
  • Participate in training/retraining and continuing education programs as necessary.
  • Comply with all designated safety policies and procedures in the work area, including the use of applicable protective equipment when necessary.
  • Understand and comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
  • Adhere to quality assurance procedures and good manufacturing practices.
  • Maintain all HIPAA and OSHA standards while on events.
  • Perform other related duties as necessary.

Requirements

  • High School diploma/GED and/or medical license (Nursing license).
  • Formal medical education including current appropriate medical certification.
  • Additional medical certification/licensure as required by state or regulatory requirements.
  • At least 2 years of healthcare experience in a professional health care setting.
  • Completion of a fingerstick within the last 1-2 years.
  • Proficient with finger stick blood collection methods and manual blood pressure.
  • At least one year of immunization/IM injections experience.
  • CardioChek machine experience preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Team Lead skills for proper specimen and reagent handling, labeling, processing, preparation, transportation, and storage.
