About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide essential care for patients with specialized needs, including G-tube, trach, and ventilator management. The role involves working closely with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal health outcomes, implementing tailored care plans, and educating patients and their families.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
  • Administer medications and injections as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  • Implement infection control measures to maintain a safe environment for patients.
  • Provide specialized care in areas such as memory care, ophthalmology, and pain management.
  • Offer advanced care for patients with G-tube, trach, and ventilator support needs, ensuring comfort and stability.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary based on clinical findings.
  • Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop effective treatment strategies.
  • Educate patients and families on health management and preventive care practices.
  • Operate neonatal ventilators when required, ensuring the highest standards of care.

Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Experience in laboratory procedures is preferred.
  • Knowledge of infection control standards and practices.
  • Proficiency in administering injections and managing pain effectively.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation techniques.
  • Experience or training in memory care settings is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to best practices in nursing.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in pediatric critical and intensive care settings.
  • Familiarity with pulmonology care.
