About the position
The RN / Health & Wellness Coach position at Wellness Workdays involves providing onsite triage and health behavior change interventions for employees at a construction site. The role focuses on promoting a healthy culture and engaging employees in wellness offerings, while serving as a wellness ambassador. Candidates must be passionate about health and wellness, with a strong background in nursing and health education.
Responsibilities
- Provide triage and acute services to various trades at a construction site.
- Provide one-to-one health coaching for employees.
- Lead stretch and flex warm-up sessions for various workers onsite.
- Work closely with safety committees, union representatives, and foremen to provide wellness education to the population.
- Create and deploy health promotion, education, activities, and challenges.
- Conduct in-person health risk assessments and biometric screens.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with at least 1-2 years of experience and health education training.
- Exceptional interpersonal, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with construction setting.
- Trained to provide cholesterol and blood pressure screenings.
- Detail-oriented and able to multi-task.
- Adept at counseling individuals from diverse backgrounds.
