Responsibilities
- Supervise and provide nursing care to cancer patients.
- Monitor patient's condition and develop care plans.
- Develop symptom management protocols and administer medication.
- Teach patients and families about treatment expectations.
- Record and chart patient's progress and responses to treatment.
- Provide discharge instructions and emergency contact information.
Requirements
- Valid RN License in the State of New York.
- At least 1 year of patient care experience.
- At least 1 year of experience in administering medications preferred.
- Associate's degree in nursing.
Nice-to-haves
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Oncology experience preferred.
