About the position

Comfort Keepers is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Brainerd Lakes area. This position is crucial for providing high-quality care to our clients in their homes. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for conducting multiple Skilled Nurse Visits, each lasting up to one hour, where you will assess and manage the health needs of our clients. You will also oversee non-licensed staff and ensure that client care is managed effectively, which includes charting and maintaining communication with family members and service partners. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about providing compassionate care and are looking to make a difference in the lives of others. The ideal candidate will be a resident of the Brainerd Lakes area, as this will facilitate timely visits to clients. The position offers flexibility, with part-time to full-time hours available from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, and importantly, there are no weekend, evening, or holiday shifts required. Responsibilities

  • Conduct multiple Skilled Nurse Visits in client homes, each lasting up to one hour.
  • Provide oversight for non-licensed staff and manage client care effectively.
  • Chart and document client information accurately.
  • Communicate with family members and service partners regarding client care.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse in the State of Minnesota.
  • Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
  • At least 12 months of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Nursing Home setting.
  • Comfortable with learning new software and electronic charting.
