About the position
The RN Hospice Director of Clinical Services is responsible for overseeing the overall direction of hospice clinical services. This role involves establishing, implementing, and evaluating goals and objectives for hospice services that align with quality standards and the company's mission and values. The position requires significant experience in hospice management and clinical operations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the overall direction of hospice clinical services.
- Establish, implement, and evaluate goals and objectives for hospice services.
- Ensure services meet quality standards and contribute to the company's mission.
- Manage planning and budgeting related to census/staffing ratios and KPIs.
- Mentor, coach, and train staff to build effective teams.
Requirements
- Valid RN License.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
- 3-5 years of recent hospice experience.
- 1-2 years of hospice management experience in roles such as Clinical Manager or Director of Nursing.
- Experience in hospice/home care settings with management or supervisory experience.
