About the position
The RN - Hospice position at Enhabit Home Health & Hospice involves providing compassionate care to patients in their final stages of life. Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to hospice patients and their families during the final stages of life.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Supervise licensed vocational/practical nurses and nursing aides as needed.
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, alerting doctors and other professionals to any changes.
- Work in various settings, including private homes, residential care facilities, and nursing centers.
Requirements
- Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing and licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
- Possess a valid state driver's license and automobile liability insurance.
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience is strongly preferred.
- Previous home health or hospice experience is preferred.
