About the position
The RN House Supervisor at Indiana University Health is a part-time leadership role responsible for overseeing hospital operations during the night shift. This position acts as the administration representative, ensuring quality patient care, facilitating communication among departments, and resolving issues that arise during off-shifts. The role requires a collaborative approach to maintain relationships with personnel, patients, and the community.
Responsibilities
- Act as the hospital's administration representative during off-shifts.
- Maintain collaborative relationships interdepartmentally and intra-departmentally.
- Facilitate communication among staff and departments.
- Resolve problems and promote quality patient care.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
- Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) or relevant experience.
- Graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the AHA.
- Completion of Clinical Specialty Professional Certification within 1 year upon meeting eligibility requirements.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience.
