The Clinical Nurse I position is designed for novice practitioners who are responsible for carrying out routine patient care assignments. This role involves working in controlled patient situations and performing established nursing procedures for individuals or groups. The Clinical Nurse I is represented by SEIU Local 121RN and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement. This position is essential in ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care in a supportive and professional environment.
Responsibilities
- Carry out routine patient care assignments under supervision.
- Work in controlled patient situations to ensure safety and quality of care.
- Perform established nursing procedures for individuals or groups as directed.
Requirements
- Current California Registered Nurse license.
- Current BLS & ACLS certifications.
- Must be a registered nurse graduate with no experience and/or 6 months to one (1) year of work experience.
