About the position
The ICU RN position at Carolina Pines Regional Hospital offers an exciting opportunity for Registered Nurses to provide exceptional, personalized care to patients in a collaborative and professional environment. Responsibilities
- Perform plan of care intervention, including medication administration, assessments, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatment.
- Document patient care given and monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Assist patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
- Evaluate the learning needs of the patient and family and provide patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
- Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
- Complete all education assigned and required for the position, including classroom and online courses.
Requirements
- ASN - Associate in Nursing required education.
- Registered Nurse in the state of South Carolina required license/certification.
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
