As an RN in our ICU you'll provide professional nursing care for patients assigned to the ICU by performing a variety of tasks for our patients. A great deal of creativity and latitude is required. Familiarity with concepts, practices, and procedures within the field is expected. This opportunity includes progression to the Charge role after time designated by ICU leader. Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care for patients assigned to the ICU.
- Perform a variety of tasks for ICU patients.
- Utilize critical thinking skills and decisive judgment in patient care.
- Work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment.
Requirements
- 2 years critical care experience preferred.
- Registered Nurse in Texas (TBON).
- Critical thinking skills and decisive judgment.
Nice-to-haves
- ACLS certification (to be obtained within 90 days of hire).
- Handle with Care certification (to be obtained within 90 days of hire).
- BLS certification (to be obtained within 60 days of hire).
- Apex Cardiac Training.
