Responsibilities

  • Observe indicators closely and support evidence-based changes with research and hands-on learning.
  • Create a caring and safe environment for patients, families, and staff.
  • Build relationships with patients and families while maintaining professional boundaries.
  • Focus on managing emotional and physical pain to promote healing and reduce suffering.
  • Facilitate learning for all members of the healthcare team, including patients, families, and nursing staff.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and the community to develop and execute an integrated plan of care.
  • Utilize problem-solving strategies and available resources to support patients, families, and staff.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited nursing course or at least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Field of Study: Nursing or a related major.
  • A minimum of 2 years in a relevant nursing role is expected.
  • Hold a BLS certificate now or obtain within 30 days of starting in this role.
  • Registered Nurse License.

  • Awareness of legal requirements and standards of certification and accreditation bodies.
  • Good command of medical terminology, focusing on healthcare promotion, risk reduction, and disease prevention.
