About the position
The RN-ICU position is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients across their lifespan, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. The role emphasizes adherence to organizational policies and procedures while promoting professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse coordinates patient care activities among assigned staff to ensure high-quality nursing care is delivered.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle.
- Utilize nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Maintain standards of practice in nursing.
- Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff.
- Demonstrate professional growth and accountability.
Requirements
- Graduate of a nursing program.
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
- BLS certification required.
Nice-to-haves
- Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
