About the position
Doctors Hospital of Laredo, located in Laredo, TX, is a 183-bed acute care facility dedicated to providing a wide range of medical services to meet the healthcare needs of the community. As a Registered Nurse (RN) in Interventional Radiology (IR), you will play a crucial role in delivering safe and competent nursing care to patients, adhering to the facility's policies, standards, and philosophy. Responsibilities
- Provide safe and competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies and standards.
- Demonstrate professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
- Implement Patient Centered Care principles in all nursing practices.
- Assess patient needs and develop nursing care plans accordingly.
- Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
- Current state nursing license.
- BLS certification (or obtained during orientation).
- Prefer one year full-time or three years part-time experience in an acute care setting.
- ACLS, PALS, or NRP certification (or obtained within six months of employment) in required specialty.
- Handle with Care certification (or obtained within six months of employment) in required specialty.
- Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.
