Doctors Hospital of Laredo, located in Laredo, TX, is a 183-bed acute care facility dedicated to providing a wide range of medical services to meet the healthcare needs of the community. As a Registered Nurse (RN) in Interventional Radiology (IR), you will play a crucial role in delivering safe and competent nursing care to patients, adhering to the facility's policies, standards, and philosophy. Responsibilities

  • Provide safe and competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies and standards.
  • Demonstrate professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
  • Implement Patient Centered Care principles in all nursing practices.
  • Assess patient needs and develop nursing care plans accordingly.
  • Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust care plans as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
  • Current state nursing license.
  • BLS certification (or obtained during orientation).
  • Prefer one year full-time or three years part-time experience in an acute care setting.
  • ACLS, PALS, or NRP certification (or obtained within six months of employment) in required specialty.
  • Handle with Care certification (or obtained within six months of employment) in required specialty.
  • Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.
