About the position

The Nursing Knowledge Program at Baptist Health Louisville is designed to support individuals pursuing a career in nursing by providing tuition funds in the form of loan forgiveness. This program is open to both current employees and external candidates who are accepted into various nursing programs, including Associate ASN, Bachelor BSN, Accelerated BSN, or BSN-Masters. Upon graduation, participants are expected to join Baptist Health and start their nursing careers.

Responsibilities

• Apply for the Nursing Knowledge Program by submitting the required documents.
• Maintain a GPA of 2.5 or greater while enrolled in a nursing program.
• Provide two letters of reference from school instructors or employers.
• Submit a one-page document outlining the use of funds, motivation for pursuing a career at Baptist, and post-graduate career plans.
• Sign an agreement prior to the disbursement of Knowledge dollars.

Requirements

• Accepted and/or actively enrolled in a Nursing program.
• GPA of 2.5 or greater as demonstrated by transcript.
• Two letters of reference from school instructors or employers.
• A one-page document outlining the use of funds and career aspirations.
