About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) position at Good Samaritan Society focuses on providing individualized nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting. Requirements

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing.
• Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
• Maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care to residents.
• Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues to plan and evaluate care.
• Demonstrate competency in nursing practices within the assigned clinical setting.
• Coordinate resident care, including assessment, education, and various nursing interventions.
• Serve as charge nurse and delegate appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel.
• Provide support to delegates to ensure safe and reliable administration of resident care.
