About the position
Redbanks Nursing Home is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the Alzheimer Unit. This role is essential in providing compassionate care to residents with Alzheimer's disease, ensuring their comfort and well-being in a skilled nursing environment. The position involves working 12-hour shifts with a weekend rotation, contributing to a supportive and community-focused healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to residents in the Alzheimer Unit.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and document patient health status and progress.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
- Assist residents with daily living activities and personal care.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for residents.
Requirements
- Valid RN or LPN license in the state of Kentucky.
- Entry-level experience is acceptable.
