Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to provide for the patient's physical and psychosocial needs.
- Assist in the planning and evaluation of care provided.
- Provide educational support to patients and families.
- Deliver skilled nursing care to patients with multiple nursing needs according to established policy and protocol.
- Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Maintain and update skills and knowledge base in line with expected performance levels.
- Project a professional and positive attitude toward patients, staff, and visitors.
- Participate in clinic functions to meet patient care needs and organizational goals.
- Demonstrate competence in working with all age groups and types of patients.
- Complete assignments accurately and in a timely manner.
- Perform established protocols in emergency situations such as Code Blue and fire disasters.
- Ensure appropriate use and care of patient equipment.
- Seek assistance or guidance in areas of uncertainty.
- Provide safety for patients, visitors, and staff through advanced safety and infection control policies.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Medical Assistant (MA) certification.
- Demonstrated competence in nursing practices and protocols.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Knowledge of safety and infection control policies.
