About the position
Saint Francis Hospital Bartlett is a 196-bed hospital dedicated to providing high quality, compassionate care to the community. As a comprehensive medical center, Saint Francis Hospital Bartlett has the expertise to deliver quality care in a variety of specialties including Emergency Services, Inpatient & Outpatient Surgical Services, Med/Surge, Ortho, Critical Care and Women's Services. The RN Med Surg Full Time Nights position provides direct clinical patient care, assuming responsibility for assessing, planning, and implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and at the unit level. The role includes supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated and accountability to support the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct clinical patient care.
- Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients.
- Supervise staff to which appropriate care is delegated.
- Support the CNO to ensure high quality and safe nursing care.
- Manage resources related to patient care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Must be currently licensed, certified or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy.
- CPR certification.
