The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients on the unit and for the day-to-day management and supervision of related clinical activities. Responsibilities
- Gathers data/assess/reassess all populations served and complete primary assessment of all newly admitted and transferred patients
- Supervises ancillary support in the process of basic nursing functions
- Acts as preceptor when needed
- Provides education to patients and families from admission to discharge
- Demonstrates proficient technical skills and operational knowledge on all equipment used on the unit
Requirements
- ASN/BSN degree
- Current GA RN license
- Current BLS
- One to two years minimum nursing care preferred
